This photo from below shows the bracket and channel beam. The bracket surrounds the beam on all four sides to ensure it will not drop out. There is also a teflon block attached to the bottom of the bracket with hose clamps to allow the beam to slide. The joists on top of the beam also have plastic slide blocks. This allows the treehouse deck to float freely and allow the trees to move unrestrained in windy conditions.
